MARTINIQUE – 5 good reasons to visit Martinique

1/ Think about your trop and imagine yourself on a beautiful beack of white sand. Fan of sun bathing ? You’ll find everything you’re looking for and more. Salines beach with its wonderful plam trees, Anse Noire beach with its turtles or the famous Anse Couleuvre beach...

2/ You can also choose to spend sporting holidays. Try all water sports Martinique offers. Sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing... Le François is the ideal city to enjoy water activities. Several schools propose lessons, pending on your level. If you have a specific need, please let us know.

3/ Martinique is extremely green.
Discover the North of Martinique...Le Carbet, Sainte-Pierre, climb our volcano La Montagne Pelée. We highly recommend to do it early in the morning, the climb is tougher at noon.
Hiking lovers, dozen kilometers of marked paths will allow to discover remote areas such as Philippe Forest or “La Savane des pétrifications”.

4/ Lovers of spirits will find their happiness in Martinique, land of agricultural rum. Discover Martinique in another way, exploring distilleries still working.
As non exhaustive examples :

A. 1710 distillery, located only a few minutes from Villa Cerisier. The habitation is totally renovated and the sugar cane is organic.
Dive into history, visiting Clément Habitation. Enjoy its garden, its distillery and the degustation.
On the north coast of the island, the JM habitation located in Macouba has been entirely renovated. Their aged rums are renowned throughout the world.

5/ A french destination
Martinique, being a French territory, is a part of the European Union. European residents need only carry Identity Cards to enter Martinique. You are, however, advised to bring your passport with you if you intend to visit neighboring islands or go cruising outside of the territorial waters of the island. A valid European Driving license is all that is required for car and motorbike hire.
The Euro (€) is the official currency of Martinique. All major credit cards are generally accepted.

GUADELOUPE – 5 good reasons to visit Guadeloupe

Guadeloupe offers many natural treasures and activities.

1/ Did you know Guadeloupe is an archipelago of 5 islands ? No time to loose, let’s go ! There’s so many things to discover.
Each island has its specificities.
Basse Terre is mountainous. You’ll find there the volcano « Soufrière ».It’s the ideal part of the island to do some hiking et discover the numerous waterfalls and hot water sources.
Grande Terre is the limestone part of Guadeloupe. Its landscapes are heavenly. Do not miss the famous blue lagoon of Saint-François, the beach of « La pointe des chateaux » or the beach of Port-Louis.

If you’re looking for more authenticity, visit les Saintes, la Désirade or Marie Galante. Beautiful territories where time has stopped as if by magic.We can easily pick water shuttles from several sea ports : Pointe à Pitre, Saint-François or Trois Rivière.

2/ Sporting holidays?
Try all watersports such as sailing, kitesurfing, windsurfing...Saint-François is ideal for this kind of activities. We’ll be able to rent equipments easily. Please contact us if you need to rent equipments, book lessons...
Golf lovers or looking for exciting thrills, Villa Marine is located very close to the international Golf of Saint-François and the airfiled.

3/ Try sea trips: catamaran or speedboat, or glass-bottomed boat to discover the seabed.
